This fall has been a really neat experience for me thus far. Growing up in Texas I never really got to see leaves turn vibrant colors before falling to the ground. They'd just kind of fall, which is why I'm feeling blessed and excited about being here in Salt Lake for this time of year. Simply driving out of my neighborhood has become something no less than magical, symbolic even. I love how nature can be a beacon of hope for us. Like the leaves, we too cycle. We blossom fresh and new but continue to grow and change, showing our strengths, having our colorful moments to shine before falling to the ground. And yes we will fall but like nature demonstrates for us, we will rise again.
So let the resilient leaves coming and going be an example to you that we will have full, ever-evolving lives containing beautiful moments and moments which help us understand appreciation. For the autumn leaves wouldn't seem as fanciful if they were full of rich color all year long.
